MiCamp Whakamaru is situated at 1105 Ongaroto Road, State Highway 30, Atiamuri, New Zealand. It is a lovely island on Lake Whakamaru with a course way joining the island to the main land.

It can sleep up to 88 people in cabins and a 3 bedroom house and has a lovely recreational hall overlooking the lake with a warm dining room and commercial kitchen.
Each group has exclusive use of the island based on minimum requirements and can be catered or self-catered. They do encourage the catered option as they have a fantastic chef on site who can provide tasty meals.

There are many activity options at the camp for your various needs to provide physical challenges, life skills, youth leadership training, out-door education, social development, fun and an appreciation of the natural NZ environment that surrounds our camp.
