A retreat for all full and part-time paid pastoral staff and their spouses from Open Brethren heritage/CCCNZ churches.

PastorLink Retreat is a chance for pastors and their spouses to relax, unwind and be fed from God's Word together. The retreat is open to all paid pastoral staff and their spouses who are currently serving in a CCCNZ / Open Brethren Heritage church.

If that’s you, then we would so love you to join us for a time of rest and refreshment and to be spiritually encouraged.

Meet our 2024 speaker,
Timon Bengston

Having visited NZ several times in the past as part of the Living Stones Network, Timon now serves the Christian Community Churches of Australia movement as the Queensland State Network Co-ordinator.

Timon is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, and has been involved in both pastoral ministry and church leadership in Australia since 2006. You can read some of his work over at his blog: timonbengtson.com

Travel / Finances

It’s a national retreat, but we’re aware that cost can be a barrier for those travelling from the South Island – the good news is that we have subsidies available to help remove those barriers, so please contact Mark van Wijk to find out how we can help with that.

Registering a Group?

If you’re bringing a group of pastors, we recommend registering all at once so that your church receives one invoice.

MORE DETAILS:

Accommodation: Couples and families will be allocated a room together. Where possible, singles will be given their own room. If we max out the rooms available at MiCamp, we’ll organise nearby offsite accommodation. Linen and towels are provided.

Children: You’re welcome to bring children aged 5yrs and under to the retreat and they’re also free of charge. There’s no specific kids programme, but they’re welcome to be part of all we’re doing 😊
