Last school holidays Toby Young and a team ran a Kids Camp on site at Riverbend Bible Church in Hastings.
This camp was attended by 47 children and almost half of them were from the community. 12 teenage leaders from the church helped care for the children throughout the week.
“At the camp the kids enjoyed various activities, games, challenges, and of course our fun and interactive chapel time! A number of children responded to the Gospel message and indicated that they wanted to pursue their own personal relationship with the Lord.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to run these camps and are praying for the Lord to work through them! We are also excited that we can carry on the discipleship by inviting them along to other ministries”.
To help make this camp possible Riverbend Bible Church accessed a fund designed to assist churches to engage in and strengthen relationships with schools and camps for the sake of the gospel.
