Onslow Community Church enjoyed an encouraging time together at their church camp over the past weekend at Foxton Bible Camp.
Pastor Peter Rhodes-Robinson writes:
“We were thrilled to have Kerry & Aliza Rickard (Kingston Community Church) and Ray & Glenys Cooper (York Street Chapel) with us for the weekend. Kerry shared a series of messages from Colossians 3:1-17 linking into our 2025 teaching theme of “Living Hope” (1 Peter 1:3). Kerry’s sessions were followed by all-age discussion groups, and many shared that these times were a real highlight.”
Ray shared with the younger ones -a number of whom indicated a first-time decision to trust Christ and/or wanting to progress their relationship with God.
Activities included Friday night damper, an afternoon beach walk, fishing, waterslide, craft, cookie decorating, board games & puzzles, all-age mixers and quiz, a night game, and an all-age prayer time.
Pete continues saying:
“People enjoyed taking time out to relax and spend quality time with each other, and it was encouraging to see relationships across all ages being strengthened. There was a real feeling of togetherness with lots of people pitching-in to make camp happen - Thanks to all involved!”
