Last weekend, around 180 kids and 60 leaders gathered at Tōtara Springs Christian Centre for a NZ Rally Camp.
Nikki McBride and Micah Church (The Orchard Rallies) led the Rally leaders. The theme this year was the Olympics. Ray Cooper (York Street Chapel) and Anthony Samuels (Tāmaki Community Church) followed this theme in their Bible exploring sessions. Ray spoke to the younger kids and Anthony to the older kids.
Caleb Mills from Fenton Park Rally was the voice up front directing the kids through mealtimes and activities, which included waterslide, swimming, archery and raft making.

NZ Rally CEO Tony Foster writes:
“My prayer is that the kids will reflect on what they heard from Scripture and grow closer to God.”
Tony mentioned it was a great honour to catch up with Denis and Joy Wallace from Manawarū Rally and Dale McClunie from Te Awamutu Rally, who are growing and developing younger leaders.
Tony says,
“I was encouraged catching up with Kara Niles from Fenton Park in Rotorua and New Plymouth Community Church Rally leader Jake Moir who both started Rallies over the last couple of years. Margaret Scrimgeour from Paengaroa Rally shared how she was excited to have a new family joining their Rally now.”
