On Sunday night I joined fellow Feilding Bible Chapel elders Lindsay Rowe and Gary Gilpin to meet with Stephen Munn (Stewards' Trust Chair) and Jeff Orr (Stewards' Senior Executive Officer).
It was encouraging to hear of Stewards’ heart to be supporting churches in the development of their properties and their desire to support church planting in the future.
It was also exciting to hear that due to a bequest, Stewards' has set up a Church Maintenance Fund. Churches can apply for a low-interest loan from the fund for their church's maintenance.
It was also good to hear about the potential for cheaper church building insurance through the work Stewards' and CCCNZ are undertaking together.
From left to right: Stephen, Lindsay, Jeff, and Gary.
Stephen and Jeff over three days met with the elderships of Church on Vogel, Kingston Community Church, Crossroads Church, Victoria Avenue Gospel Hall, Rongotea Bible Chapel, and Feilding Bible Chapel. In Horowhenua, they met with the elders of York Street Chapel.
Stephen and Jeff, a big thanks to you and the Stewards' team for how you are seeking to serve churches around their properties as they work together to point people to Jesus, through the gospel from the Bible.
