As a result of the Langham Preaching Training week in June, a Waikato regional preaching development training started last Saturday, led by Justin Thompson, Pastor at Manawarū Bible Chapel, along with Craig Barrow (Agora Church) and Nick Goodwin (Associate Pastor, Raleigh Street Christian Centre).
CCCNZ Waikato-Bay of Plenty Regional Enabler Grant Birks says:
“It was exciting to have 14 people from Hukanui Bible Church, Matamata Bible Church, Hillcrest Chapel, Putaruru Gospel Chapel and Agora Church come together for the start of some regional preaching development on Saturday 19 October.”
This was the first session in a series aimed at developing preaching skills and abilities for the future of the Church. Grant was very encouraged by the number of young people and those who had never preached but are willing to step up and let God use them in this way.
