CCCNZ South Island Enabler Tim Hodge visited Church Street Bible Chapel last Sunday and came back very encouraged.
Tim writes:
“Church Street Bible Chapel in Timaru is a great bunch of people following Jesus and inviting others in their community to do likewise. I had the honour of visiting them last Sunday, and I enjoyed being there so much forgot to take photos of people!
“I'm grateful to God for them, for their emphasis on mission local and international, their diligence in Bible teaching, and their love of connection with other churches. They're active in Timaru churches together, and love connections with other churches linked in with CCCNZ, the nearest of which is over an hour’s drive away.
Tim was impressed to see a plaque on the wall of their building (see picture above) and said, “They love these connections so much they even have a CCCNZ plaque on the outside wall!” If your church is interested in putting up something similar have a chat with Communications Manager Sophia Sinclair.
Please do pray for the Church Street elders Alistair Pike, Julian Goodsir, Matt Cameron and Stuart Lang as they continue, under God's good hand, to lead the work with Church St Bible Chapel.
