Last weekend, Feilding Bible Chapel held a women’s retreat. With the theme “Flourish”, they were encouraged to remain deep-rooted in Christ.
Karin Cox comments,
“We were reminded that for everything to flourish as God intends, things take time, just like the plants in the Bible—the olive, cedar and palm, take time to produce.”
“Most uplifting was when we were drawn together as a body to pray for the partner of a fellow sister's grandson as an urgent medical event was happening at that moment. It was very encouraging to see God's work with this young lady as we were updated throughout.”
Karin also highlighted God’s hand on the weather since although the forecast wasn't great, they had perfect weather. "Most awesome was the rain that held off until just as we were closing the gates of the campsite we were at to go home."
