Heretaunga Community Church, Upper Hutt organised and hosted the Stand Firm Conference, last weekend (13-14 September).

Stephen Shirley, Equipping Pastor at Heretaunga Community Church writes:
"126 people registered. It was a proper conference with catered lunch and dinner, morning and afternoon teas.
"The speakers were Sam Chapman (who fell ill days before and couldn't come but still spoke via zoom from his hospital bed, wow!), Graham Ashby, and Geoff Smith. The conference was an exhortation and encouragement for us to live holy and godly lives... as well as to promote and build unity amongst us.
"Each speaker gave their take on this and how important it is for us as believers to stand firm in God and in his Word. It was an excellent conference, and each speaker spoke very well and complemented each other. The singing was uplifting while lunch and dinner were fulfilling. We are praying about making it an annual event especially since we received so much good feedback."
