Friday night and Saturday saw the first “Dig & Discover” course held in the Bay of Plenty, at Lifezone Church in Tauranga.
Sixteen people from Paengaroa Bible Chapel, Lakes Church Rotorua, and Lifezone Church came together to learn principles for digging deeper into God’s Word.
Attendees explored Jonah together, applying newly learned principles to the text.
CCCNZ Waikato-Bay of Plenty Regional Enabler Grant Birks says, “An encouragement was having several young people from Lifezone attend, realising that Scripture can be both exciting and relevant to their lives today.”
Various participants commented that these principles enabled them to gain a new, deeper and richer understanding of Jonah and Scripture in general.
Grant highlights, “It was great to see them enjoying the process and discovering God’s Word for themselves.”
