Nine rallies recently participated in the 2024 Manawatū District Rallies Winter Tournament, including Bunnythorpe Family Church, Crossroads Church, Feilding Bible Chapel, Marton Bible Chapel, Queen St Chapel, Rongotea Bible Chapel, York St Chapel, Church on Vogel, and Brunswick Rally, with over 120 children and 50 youth and adults attending.
Rebekah Mudford (Bunnythorpe Family Church) highlighted that this event reflects unity in Christ since “It’s not just about competing; it’s about the relationships that are built as kids from different Rallies connect, support one another, and grow together.”
Rebekah writes:
“These tournaments and our annual district camp are much more than events—they are opportunities for our Rally kids to experience the love of Christ through the community and for all of us to grow in our faith together.”
Rebekah reminds us about the importance of working together and ponders:
“As Rally leaders, we find deep encouragement in the way we work together, united by our shared mission to guide these young lives in their journey with Christ. Despite leading our own Rallies, we come together as one body, supporting each other, sharing wisdom, and building each other up.
“It’s a powerful reminder that our strength comes from working together in the service of our Lord, and that in him, we are truly one team.”
