From Wednesday to Friday this week, a group of nine people from Northgate Community Church, Chapel Hill Community Church, Raleigh Street Christian Centre, Hillcrest Chapel and Lifezone Church joined together to learn how to train people for Christian ministry with the Bible.
Led by Philip Wheeler and Todd Kelly, they worked on the “Dig & Discover” Bible study principles course.
Grant Birks, CCCNZ Waikato/Bay of Plenty Enabler, writes:
“This course encourages people to come together as learners around God's Word, intentionally digging into a book of the Bible together—in this case, Jonah—developing skills and principles to enable us to discover God’s Word ourselves.
“These principles are helpful for those leading home groups, Bible studies, preaching or who just want to delve deeper into Scripture.”
Three of the attendees will be teaching these principles today and tomorrow at Lifezone Church in Tauranga.
