Last Saturday, Youth groups from 5 churches (Whitiora Bible Church, Northgate Community Church, Chapel Hill Community Church, Agora Church and Hillcrest Chapel) had a combined event at Karakariki Christian Camp.
Sarah Chalmers, Youth Pastor at Hillcrest Chapel, writes:
“We had an afternoon of camp activities followed by dinner and a session finishing up with a bonfire. For the session, we had a combined worship team from the different youth communities led by Bradley Shepherd (Chapel Hill Community Church) and Emily Luke (Whitiora Bible Church) with Chris Chalmers (Pastor at Hillcrest Chapel) giving a gospel message.
“It was a great day of fun with our youth growing discipleship connections across the city. The team at Karakariki camp did an awesome job of hosting.”
Brett Wallace from Agora Church comments: “It was amazing to have youth from multiple churches get together and hang out and worship God as a whole”.
