Kingston Community Church (KCC) hosted 19 leaders from the Manawatū region for a delicious breakfast and kōrero about how churches can be working together with local campsites to reach our local communities.
Leaders came from KCC, Feilding Bible Chapel, Highland Home Christian Camp, Crossroads Church and Church on Vogel (some of us are pictured together below).
It was a great opportunity to hear from CCCNZ Camping Enabler Richard Davis and to think together about how Christian camps can serve and support each church's community outreach vision.
We're excited to continue these conversations in the region. It was great to hear from nearby campsite Highland Home Christian Camp about their heart to support and partner with local churches to reach their communities.
Highland Home Camp Managers Mat and Emma Foster (back left and front right) attended with Highland Home Board Chair Hamish Kirk (front left) and Trustee Robin Murray (back right).
