Kelston Community Church (KCC) Pastor Paul Long shares that running an Alpha Course has become a key annual ministry activity and is “an important means of encouraging evangelism, teaching the basics of the Christian faith, providing avenues for service, deepening friendships, and developing newer leaders”.

It’s so encouraging to know that more than three-quarters of their committed Alpha course leaders and helpers attended the first Alpha course two years ago, says Paul. “For our first Alpha, I had to lead most of the worship sessions. For our second Alpha, I had to lead a few sessions. This year I am not needed”.
The Alpha ministry at Kelston Community Church is coordinated by Andrew Mulcahy, James Gan (Elder), and Lucas Gan (Youth Leader). This year they are running concurrently two different Alpha groups, in English and Mandarin.
