Our vision is to see churches (and the regional camps and national support ministries that serve them) working together to point people to Jesus through the gospel from the Bible.
A brilliant example of the vision is the story of Franklin Bible Church.
Last night, David Frost and Daniel Mackereth shared the story of the Franklin Bible Church plant at the South, Central and East Auckland Elders’ and Leaders’ Dinner. I was almost in tears (in a good way)!
Daniel Mackereth and David Frost speaking with CCCNZ Auckland Regional Enabler Richard Fountain.
We heard the story of the Manurewa Bible Church elders carefully considering, deliberating and building consensus. They sent 11 adults and 6 children. David said, “We didn’t need a large team just people willing to go”.
He later commented, “God wants us to be faithful with what God has given us!” I particularly loved David’s comment “God has sent us all the people we need”.Daniel said, “We were sent with the conviction that everyone serves”. From day one, in 2021 everyone serves. This was evident as the Franklin Bible Church family hosted us so magnificently!

I also appreciated hearing about the critical role Stewards' Trust played, from nudging the Manurewa Bible Church elders to consider a church plant in Pukekohe, to being incredibly supportive and generous with the Franklin building.
I came away so moved by God’s faithfulness and the faith of those who sent the team out and the faith of the team sent out!
