It was an absolute delight to visit the Lower North Island CCCNZ Easter Camp on Easter Saturday at YMCA Kaitoke in Upper Hutt, with 170 people in attendance from 10 churches, including Feilding Bible Chapel, Kingston Community Church, The Anchor Church, Onslow Community Church, Church on Vogel, and Church on Ingestre.
Joel Birkin, Ministry Pastor at Kingston Community Church and one of the Easter Camp organisers, writes:
“It was wonderful to witness the gospel being proclaimed, meaningful conversation had, and new relationships formed over the weekend.
“It was special to see the calibre and heart of our youth leaders from our movement who are deeply committed to forming strong relationships and to discipleship in a loving Christ-like way."
A huge thank you to Joel, and to the wonderful camp cooks Kelly and Kathy Brunton from Feilding Bible Chapel and Larissa Benn from Church on Ingestre.
A big thank you to the amazing volunteer youth leaders who served and supported our young people. It was exciting seeing churches working together to point people to Jesus from the Bible. I loved watching rock climbing, kayaking and the reverse bungee sling!
