Sam Trebilco from Te Awamutu Bible Chapel and Taylor Firth from Kaipaki Bible Church have been reflecting on their recent experiences interning with MMM New Zealand (formerly known as Mobile Mission Maintenance).
In 2023 they were employed by MMM to work with a builder four days a week, spend one day a week volunteering with MMM, and have blocks of theological study throughout the year.

Taylor says he would look forward to Friday each week when he and Sam volunteered with the MMM team: “Getting to work with such an awesome team of godly men and women made it not really matter what work we were doing because the fellowship was always the prize! And we did have heaps of great projects too!”
Sam says, “Working for MMM has been such a blessing for my faith. It has helped remind me that God gives us all gifts and skills to build up and serve the church in different ways”.
Sam and Taylor received an internship support gift from Lichfield Lands, and Scholarships Enabler Liz Hodge is encouraged to see this bi-vocational internship in action, partnering members of local churches with each other to learn new practical skills and grow in their faith.
