I was so encouraging to hear about the Sisters Hui Rotorua, a regional Māori women’s conference held at Roosevelt Road Bible Church on Saturday 2 March.
Sharon Brooks (Roosevelt Road Bible Church) writes,
“It has been with great pleasure and in our Father’s presence we held the regional gathering of the women’s fellowship hui in Rotorua. We were blessed with our brethren sisters from Mangakino, Waharoa, Tauwhare, Matamata and all the way to Auckland.
“Our theme was Women in the church, and each group of the assembly shared a message relating to women’s role in the church, each from a different perspective, whilst sharing some truths of the workings of the gospel in our lives. Each message was followed by a waiata”.
“We were fully blessed with a kai prepared and served by the menfolk”.
