Each Sunday morning over the summer months of January and February Lincoln Road Bible Chapel has been working through a sermon series called Story of the Bible.
Seven different beginning preachers have had the opportunity to take a Sunday each, focussing on a different theme, such as Beginnings (Kyla Scrimgeour), Exodus (Thomas Scrimgeour), Kingdom (Lauren Palmer), Remnant (Susannah Olive), Jesus (Janai Randall), Church (Jeremy Tattersall) and New Creation (Isaac MacKenzie).

Pastor Catherine Perich says that the series has been beneficial in a number of ways, especially for the individuals giving the message as they spent time together and separately wrestling with their texts and seeking feedback before and after delivering their sermons.
Catherine has also had tremendously positive feedback from the church family who have been blown away by the teaching over the Summer.

CCCNZ Scholarships Enabler Liz Hodge writes, “This is exactly what the scholarships are aiming to do: to see men and women equipped for service in and through the local church, through teaching, pastoral and preaching ministries”.
