Last Sunday, one of CCCNZ's most recently linked in churches, North Beach Christian Fellowship in North New Brighton Christchurch, had a big celebration relaunch with a new name: The Embassy @ North Beach. Centred on 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, the vision is to live as ambassadors for Jesus in their community.
The building was bursting at the seams, including guests from Rutland Street Church and other local churches.

Tim Hodge, CCCNZ South Island Regional Enabler, writes:
“Marty Schieb (Open Air Campaigners & Riccarton Community Church) with his grandad puppet and some rope creatively taught the gospel, with full-time elder Kristopher Bate preaching clearly with gospel hope from their foundational passage, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
“There was a giant spread of food with a wonderful cake, and lots of summer games and barbecue in a local park next to the beach. Kristopher, along with fellow elders Brian Booth and Robin Woodfield, were delighted to celebrate this new chapter in the life and witness of the local church”.
