On Sunday, Jacob Kendrew was commissioned as Young Adults pastor at Crossroads Church. During the service, the church prayed also for Lucy McIlwaine and Isaac Pettersen as they entered into their new roles of Operations Coordinator and Discipleship Pastor.
Lead Pastor Reuben Porter writes:
“We are so expectant and excited for the ways in which God will use Lucy, Isaac and Jacob's gifts as they step into their new roles. Please continue to pray for them and for the Crossroads team in the ministries that they lead — that many would come to know Jesus because of their 'yes' to God”.
Last Sunday's service was also significant because it marked the beginning of the 'Seven Days of Prayer and Fasting' for various churches in the Manawatū region.
We love to see people committing to serve God with their gifts and seeking him more profoundly.
