This year Colleen McNae (pictured above) and Alistair McNaughton, from Papatoetoe Bible Chapel, have been teaching the Bible as part of Launchpad (formerly called 'Bible in Schools') to around seven primary schools in South Auckland.
Graeme McNae, Colleen's husband, let us know that at the close of one of these schools’ programs, a letter was presented as a vote of confidence and appreciation.
The letter says,
“Your teachings from the Bible have been invaluable, and I appreciate the effort you’ve put into guiding us on this spiritual journey. Your passion for the subject has made the lessons not only educational but also inspiring.”
“Your influence will undoubtedly stay with us and we are grateful for the opportunity to have learned from someone as knowledgeable and passionate as you”.
It’s so encouraging to see how churches are sharing the gospel in schools, to point children and families to Jesus.
