Last Sunday, eight churches gathered in Canterbury at the Regional Prayer Gathering: Wairakei Road Bible Church, Bryndwr Chapel, Rutland Street Church, Redemption Church Christchurch, Durham Street Gospel Hall, Westchurch, Springs Community Church, and Rowley Bible Church.
Geoff Stark from Westchurch writes:
“I felt very blessed to have 32 fervent people of prayer join in our fourth annual prayer event at Bryndwr Chapel. People enthusiastically engaged in sharing items for thanks and prayer and then got on with the work of coming before God's throne in earnest”.
Tim Hodge, CCCNZ South Island Regional Enabler comments:
“Geoff Stark from Westchurch led us superbly, with four prayer station rotations of 15 minutes each: local churches, regional initiatives, nationwide, and international (missionaries from Canterbury in the GC3 prayer diary). We are grateful to Bryndwr Chapel for hosting”.

Tim highlights that Bryndwr Chapel regularly and generously makes their building available to Redemption Church Christchurch for training sessions and leadership development midweek. Tim concludes, “It's a great example of churches working together across Christchurch to together point people to Jesus through the gospel from the Scriptures”.
