It was a privilege to be at the North & West Auckland Leaders Dinner at Northcross Church on Thursday evening. Over 30 Elders, Pastors and Ministry leaders from 12 churches from north and west Auckland joined together for a meal and hear more about ministry.
Churches represented included Au uso Christian Fellowship – Henderson, Birkdale Bible Chapel, Birkenhead Community Church, Hobsonville Point Church Family, Kaukapakapa Bible Chapel, Lincoln Road Bible Chapel, Northcross Church, Orewa Community Church, Rossgrove Chapel, Samoan Open Brethren – Ranui, Takapuna Bible Church, and The Chapel.

I appreciated meeting Norman Turner from Takapuna Bible Church and hearing of TBC's heart to reach more Korean Aucklanders. I also valued hearing about the partnership Takapuna has with Bruce Hurd and the Kaipara (Kaukapakapa Bible Chapel) family. Grateful to hear about the churches' heart to be reaching out with the gospel in a fast-growing region.
Our vision is to see churches working together to point people to Jesus through the gospel from the Scriptures. Therefore it's encouraging to hear that Northcross Church is supporting the Kaipara church family with the provision of a prefab to aid in its mission of making Jesus known.
I am constantly encouraged by the team from Orewa Community Church. Pictured above are Marina Shannon, Paula and Jim Morrison, and Dave Bradley from OCC chatting with Mark van Wijk, CCCNZ PastorLink Enabler.
