We love to see churches partnering with local campsites for gospel ministry!
CCCNZ Camping Enabler Richard Davis shared this vision with CCCNZ Auckland church leaders this morning at Willow Park Christian Camp over breakfast.
Thanks to Kelston Community Church pastor Paul Long for sharing this photo on the CCCNZ Auckland Community Facebook group, saying:
"Very encouraging and challenging early morning meeting on the CCCNZ camping ministries; the ministry successes, opportunities, and partnership challenges".
During the school holidays, The Orchard Church hosted a holiday programme for 180 kids. Supported by Word of Life, they proclaimed Christ to mostly non-church kids.
Youth from Hukanui Bible Church, Hillcrest Chapel and Whitiora Bible Church were involved in the programme. Grant Birks, CCCNZ Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regional Enabler, writes: “It was fantastic to see church youth from different churches together engaging with the kids, building relationships with them and sharing Christ.”
At night they were hosted by Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp in Papamoa, where they enjoyed fellowship and discipling by the Word of Life interns.
