On Sunday, LifeChurch Manurewa commissioned a team travelling to Uganda on a short-term mission, led by Pastor Lui Ponifasio.
The team of nine people will be part of a medical mission, renovating a church building, launching a new church plant, sharing cultural items, songs and testimonies; and conducting live gospel evangelical crusades.
Pastor Ane Ponifasio writes: “Over the last few months, the team and the church members have worked hard in preparation in praying, practicing, and raising funds for their expenses and airfares; collecting items like clothes toys goodies to take for the children of the orphanage and school that is run by the partner church in Kampala, Uganda".
Ane concludes: "The team will appreciate your prayers for them that the Lord will use them for greater impact for the gospel of Jesus Christ”.
