The elders at Kingston Community Church let me know in June that Kerry Rickard's two-days-a-week secondment agreement with CCCNZ will come to an end at the end of the year.
Kerry and the eldership are encouraged by what God is doing in the church family and recognise that Kerry's time and input are needed in this coming season.
We are incredibly grateful for Kerry and the contribution he makes to both the churches and to us as a team.
Kerry, you are such a blessing to each of us. We are grateful to God for you. We are grateful for the way God has used you in seeing churches working together to point people to Jesus, through the gospel from the Scriptures. We are also profoundly grateful to Aliza and the family and your wider church family for enabling you to serve amongst the churches the way you have.
Kerry writes:
"I have greatly appreciated the opportunities, learnings and most importantly people during my time at CCCNZ. It is a difficult decision to step back, but it is important I honour my commitment and responsibilities at KCC as we enter an exciting season ahead. Although I finish my formal role at CCCNZ, I am still keen to be an active member and KCC an active participant in the movement. I value you all and look forward to continuing to be relationally connected".
Please do get in touch with Kerry and Aliza. We’ll be honouring Kerry, Aliza and the family in the near future and will keep you posted.
