This week the Christian Camping New Zealand National Conference took place at El Rancho, from Sunday to Wednesday.
Over 140 staff, managers and board members from camps throughout New Zealand attended, with approximately 55 people from camps associated with the OBH movement.

CCCNZ Camping Enabler, Richard Davis writes:
"The four-day event was the first time in four years that camp staff from across the country have been able to meet together due to the pandemic.
"CCCNZ is here to support and encourage connections between our Open Brethren heritage campsites and the local CCCNZ churches. Support through partnership, connection, prayer, funding and assistance around good quality speakers.
Andrea and Ted Muir
"At a morning tea we were able to honour and thank Ted Muir for his support and hospitality shown to many of the CCCNZ staff and the wider CCCNZ community when they hosted events at MiCamp Taupō.
"We do pray that whilst Ted and Andrea are finishing their current roles at MiCamp, that God will refresh and reenergise them and in his time, and open doors for them as they consider their next steps.
Ross Bay being honoured at the Christian Camping NZ Conference.
"At the conference, the Christian Camping NZ Board and members also had the opportunity to honour Ross Bay (Matamata Bible Church) who has recently finished his time on the Christian Camping International Board.
"Ross has served previously as a Manager at Tōtara Springs Christian Camp and has been involved in governance, support, and coaching within both Christian camping in New Zealand and worldwide for 37 years! It was a privilege to see him awarded the first recipient of lifetime CCNZ membership".
We want to thank all the staff and volunteers of the 24 Open Brethren heritage campsites that work amongst our churches.
Ross, Ted, and Andrea we are so grateful for you and the contribution you’ve made in seeing churches and campsites working together to point people to Jesus through the Scriptures.
